Joanie's Food Log-Tuesday
Hope our newpost-ops are resting comfortably this morning. Life goes on here for us others. Yesterday was a great eating day and I managed to walk 2.5 despite a back ache from "my special time of the month:"..the scale is pretty close to under 200..but has been going back and fourth a 1.5 each time I step on the scale. Numbers shouldn't matter..but they do!! OK..here is today on this bleak, cold, rainy day. Going to try to make the best of it. Girls night out at the movies tonight...going to see "Shall We Dance"...
B-protein drink
S-string cheese
L-perdue low fat chicken w/salsa and lite sour cream
D-marinated chicken baked with a few bread crumbs
S-I will save my momentum bar for the movie!
Joanie
Joanie, How exciting that you are about to break the 200 barrier!!
I went to the support group meeting last night and part of the discussion was about how the numbers shouldn't matter and how we shouldn't weigh ourselves every day. I just can't help myself but to get on the scale every morning
and I understand why I shouldn't now because the needle has been bouncing back and forth between 1 lb for the last week and a half and I started letting it get me down. What I stopped and realized though, is that since my last visit, I have lost 10 more pounds which is awesome for 2 weeks! Aside from "the numbers", I have to say that I really feel terrific and my self confidence is coming back now that the clothes are fitting better. I even saw a hint of jawline in the mirror the other day! Haven't seen those bones for a while!! Trying to stay off the scale until my visit on Friday.
B - cottage cheese and 1 sausage link(ugh... not sitting well, will not try this again.)
L - Turkey and lite swiss cheese rollup with mustard
D - Chicken with ff gravy
S - ff sf butterscotch pudding w/beneprotein
stay dry today...... GO RED SOX!!!!!

L- I might stop at my favorite resteraunt and get a cup of soup (and drop off Avon books)
D- 2oz Chicken Salad
S- Cottage cheese (if I am starving) or maybe s/f Jello
Try to make the best out of this dreary day!
