Epidural

Hey all just a question. I have been reading other member's page(none in CT) and they pretty much say they have to have an epidural before surgery while they are getting ready to have surgery. Is this true for Dr. Aranow.

Hi LaToya, I did not have an epidural. The only thing they did to me before surgery is give me a shot of Heperin(sp) in my stomach for preventing blood clots and put my I/V port in my hand. Then off to la la land once I was on the table. Terri

LaToya, I also did not have an epidural before surgery. I got an IV, and a shot of heparin in my stomsach (which is just a pinch) and thats it. Walked to the room. got on the smallest tabble i ever saw and that was it!! Stop fretting girl!! Fondly, Elaine
