Hey Jules, GREAT PIC...I had the distinct honor of knowing Julie when I was in high school...her older sister and I were best friends, though we grew apart after school, lives change, ya know. When I found out Julie was having WLS, I was pleasantly surprised and happy for her, knowing what WLS did for me, and I prayed it would do the same for her. I am so very happy that she had no complications and is doing great in her weight loss. Julie, I wish you all the best and brightest that life has to offer. May you have a Sparkling Life!!! ~CAE~ 11/16/01 245/120 (size 24 to size 3)

Joanie, Your too sweet. Thank you so much for the compliments. A friend of mine took my pic with his new phone. We were playing around with it so I figured I'd give you guys an updated pic. But the full bodied ones came out blurry so I will have another one up very soon. You guys are great and Chris.... I am so happy for you. I hope I am 1/2 as successful as you have been with your WLS journey. I have to admit I am having the ho hums. Feeling a little depressed, sad and just unsettled but I don't know why. Could be all that has changed, family issues, relationship issues ( maybe all the cakes, cup cakes, pastries and just plain crap that is all over my house ) . But I'm hoping it's just a PMS episode and I'll be over it before I know it. I havn't had my period since surgery and I think my hormones are raging and way off whack. Otherwise I feel great and notice new things everyday that I couldn't do before surgery that I do now with ease. I hope everyone had a good weekend. I am going to try yet again to attend the Middlesex meeting tomorrow.(does anyone know the time??) I think I need to for a boost. Everyone...keep Kathy and all who are starting their journey shorlty in your thoughts and prayers. I love all you guys and thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support and encouragement you have given to me. God Bless. ~Julie~ RNY 8/9/04 370/301/150

Julie -- You look wonderful!! You definitely go through lots of hormonal changes. PMS was never a good time for me to begin with, and it continues to be a struggle for me. Hang in there! You've done great & you'll continue to lose, and that helps chase away the blues a lot!! Have a good day gorgeous!! Kathy F.

Julie ...YOU LOOK ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Please know that all the feelings you are experiencing are NORMAL. I, too, had those blah days..I was happy to have had the surgery, but down...still have some days like that. Although I don't get PMS anymore (I get men on pause instead ), I'm sure that's contributing to your mood. Take one day at a time, and know we're all in this together!! JA
