? for Dr Bell Patients

Just wondering how far in advance does the office usually submit for insurance approval? I am suppose to have surgery November 8 but I just got off the phone a little while ago with Liz and she still has not even submitted the paperwork to the insurance company yet. I have Anthem Century Preferred thru AMR National and was told by them it takes 30 days for review. Does something seem wrong with this or is it just me being anxious over being approved or not? Hi Heidi, I am sure this is stressing you but if I am not mistaken they don't put in for insurance approval too quickly because alot of insurances won't approve too far in advance. The office gets a pretty quick turn around for approvals especially from Anthem. I can't tell you not to worry as things in this world are always changing but take a deep breath and believe.
