#@%$&@$#!!!!! This is not my week... I just spoke to On The Border. It seems they double booked us. So, they can't do dinner on Nov 20. She asked if we wanted to do late lunch like 2:00 (we'd have to be out by 6:00 pm) The only other option I can think of is to try Rocky Hill. Please tell me what you guys want to do. (I know what I want to do...and it has something to do with strangling a certain someone who messed up all my nicely laid plans...but I digress...) Thanks. Lisa C

Hi, Lisa! Since I'm still pre-op (and therefore much bigger than you), I'll sit on him/her and you do the strangling -- just kidding! Do you know whether Rocky Hill still has the room available for that night? Being in Hamden, I'm between both locations (though Orange is closer), so either one (and either time) works for me. Thank you for going through all this aggravation on our behalf, Debby

My theory is since it's a Saturday, doing it at 2:00 is no big deal. We can certainly be out in 4 hours ... to go shopping at The Christmas Tree Shop!! There's my two cents. Peace, Kathy F.

I agree. I'm coming from Enfield, so I would actually rather come during the day.....less travel home in the dark for me And did someone mention Christmas Tree Shop?

Lisa, I think 200 pm is fine for me beside I can't eat that kinf of foods then we all got out by 600 pm to go Christmas Shopping there. That will be more fun!!! I am not crazy about driving night in early Winter... Call me chicken !!! Hugs Kathy K

I don't know much about the get together, but would like to attend.... I don't know where either place is, but 2:00 sounds good to me. Carmen

Hi Lisa, Don't stress it. I know its horrible when a plan falls through due to someone else's incompetence but we all know it is not your fault and regardless of where we go it will be fun and we love you so don't go anything that gets you behind bars...... Earlier in the afternoon is fine with me. I will just rearrange some stuff but it does make sense for people traveling a further distance and for those who want to shop......hmmmm I wonder who that will be I am almost afraid to ask but.......isn't it about time for you to have some results? or not?? I have been praying for you. Linda

Thanks for asking. But, no good news, I'm afraid. My period arrived before I could even take a blood test. So no pregnancy here. I'm already started on my second round of injectibles. Going to be a little more agressive this month. So...we'll see. Thanks too for your reply about the time.

Lisa -- I'm sorry things didn't work out this month. It really is such hard work, physically and emotionally, to tackle fertility treatments. But I do know people who've had success (my friend Cindy's twin boys are the cutest things you've ever seen, and Mary Sue has a couple of tow-headed little angels!!). Keep your spirits up, let the doctors do their work & pray for the rest. I'm at that point where fertility is pretty shaky. I'm going to have a test at my OB/GYN's office soon to see if I'm even capable of having a baby at this point -- 44 years old, but my family has a history of late births ... and my Mom didn't stop her period until she was 58 ... that's right, 58! Something to look forward to ... NOT. I may be talking to Kathy B. in the next year or two about adoption. My almost-fiance (I know the ring has been purchased; it's just a matter of when) is younger than me, so that'll help with approval. It's just not as simple as it was when we were 20 years old and trying NOT to get pregnant!! Another example of youth being wasted on the young. Good luck, I'll put in a prayer for you that you have success. Keep hope alive!!! XO Kathy F.

Lisa, We are easy...earlier is fine..then we can shop!! I found out by accident..that Rocky Hill is probably as far as Orange from me... Either way whatever anyone decides is fine with me! Thanks for all the planning. Joanie
