Anyone familiar with Dr. Freund? Cardiac guy.

Has anyone see this Doctor for their cardiac consult? I saw him yesterday, and have some concerns....just wondering if its only me.

Hey Christine, Myself and I freind of mine both saw him for our consults.... I have to tell you we love him! I got a clean bill of health but my freind did not. He called her and saved her life. Blocked arteries. We both found him extremely knowledgeable. The only issue I personally had was with their billing. They told me everything was all set with my referrals and come to find out AFTER my appt they never got one. I had to fight literally to get it covered. It did work out but let me tell you it was with NO help from the person who does the billing. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Hi Christine, I am responding to your question as a nurse and as someone who has first hand knowledge of his great care.He came highly recommended by a friend who has been seeing him for years and years.The recommendation was for my husband who has had triple bypass surgery.We looked for someone after feeling a lack of confidence in his local cardiologist.We were both very pleased and confident with his concern and compitence.I have since recommended him to many patients and friends as well.Carol

I had Dr. Freund for my cardiac consultation as well as stress test and found him to be considerate, caring and generally nice. He gave me clearance for WLS and he and his staff were extra kind. I even asked him about the surgeon I was considering and he was blatantly honest, which I appreciated. Hope that helps.

I just saw Dr. Freund on Monday and I thought that he was kind and very professional. He also has treated both my mother and father and it was his experience and expertise that diagnosed my father with heart disease soon enough for it to be treated. I think your in good hands with Dr. Freund!

Hi, I saw Dr. Freund for my consult and stress test a few months ago. I thought he was wonderful. He was very kind, honest and I felt very comfortable in his care.

Hey Christine, I think I understand what you mean. He comes off a very rushed and maybe a little abrubt, but his really is a great DR. I think almost every one of Dr. Barba's patients goes to him. Linda

I also saw Dr. Freund during my pre-op testing and really liked him. He was very familar with bariatric surgery which helped alot. I thought he was very thorough and detected a heart murmur which I had diagnosed when I was about 3 years old. I thought it had gone away but he found it again. It posed no problem to me and didn't stop my surgery. He was rushed abit but I still felt like I got a complete check up. I had the EKG, ECHO and then a stress test a few weeks later. I truly think you'll be ok with him. Leslie
