Feeling Alone. ..

Anyone else else here a patient of Dr. Barba's and his office? I see many people with other doctor's but I would like to connect with Dr. Barba's patients too. I will be going to the support group on 10/19. Any one else going to be there too?

Hi Delicia I am a patient of Dr. Barba's. I had my surgery on July 29 and am doing pretty well after having some severe complications. Dr. Barba is very good! There is also another Dr. in the office who is doing a fellowship - Dr. Giovanni. She is wonderful! Currently, Dr. Barba is starting up his own private practice and moving his office down to the 2nd floor of the medical office bldg. at the hospital. I know he will continue to use the dieticians (Judy and Melissa) and Carolyn and Rosemary (office nurse) will be with him. I am not sure how things will change for patients but I believe he is doing this to be more available and have longer office hours to see more patients. He really is a very caring person. Hi Delicia, I am going to my initial meeting on Oct.14th. I am not sure what the meeting is on 10/19. Hopefully I will fing out on the 14th. I know another person who doesn't post often but reads quite a bit and she had Dr. Barba and loved him. I can't wait to meet him and his staff next week. Well, I guess a lot of people don't use Dr. Barba. I've heard he has a great reputation. The Oct. 19th meeting is a support group meeting for both post op and pre op people at the Gengras Auditorium at Saint Francis.
