UGH! I have to see the dietician at least 5 times before my insurance will cover the surgery... so now I wont be able to even schedule until February, 2005. Beckie

That really stinks! A lot of insurance companies have ridiculous requirements. Hang in there! Carmen

Becky, Sorry to hear of the delay. It is hard when you are more than ready to have the surgery and roadblocks are in the way. I had to put my surgery on hold for 8 months because we were in the middle of adopting our youngest daughter. Even though I had a pleasant diversion to keep me busy, it was hard waiting so long. But now here I am 2 weeks out of surgery and losing the weight at last! Just take a dietician visit at a time and before you know it --- you will be post op. Hang in there, Terri

Hi Beckie, I know it is hard to wait that long, but the time will go by fast once the holidays are here. Get as much information as you can before surgery and it will be that much easier after. Good luck to you Sandy

Beckie - we have the same insurance. Call them and tell them NO. The policy says that you meet with a primary care physician for nutritional consults OR 90 days with a dietician. Give them heck!!!
