Hi, Cindy! It seems like you're about to do what I've been doing. I went to Dr. A's seminar on Aug. 18th, called his office the next day and have my first appointment with him a week from today, Oct. 8th. At the time it seemed so far away, but they said that I could attend the mandatory 3 support group meetings (including one of the ones on the 1st Mon. of the month -- for pre-ops only) before my appointment. So I've been to 2 of the regular support group meetings (for both pre- and post-ops) and I'll be at the meeting Mon. night. Too bad they don't seat us alphabetically; we'd be next to each other. But there usually are name tags, so we'll have to look for each other. Have a good weekend, Debby

Hi Cindy, Good luck on your Journey! I met Dr. Aranow on August 18 and am having my surgery on Tuesday. Follow what he and his team suggest and the process will go very smoothly for you. Feel free to ask questions as they come up. Regards, Lori

Hi, Cindy! Were you there last night? I was sitting up front and Tammy L. happened to sit down next to me. After the meeting ended, I stood up and called out, "Beckie....Cindy...." and Beckie Newell came over to us. I didn't know if you didn't hear me call your name or if you weren't there. Despite some initial confusion about whether or not there's a meeting next week due to Columbus Day, Kathy K. settled that since she posted elsewhere that Kim Daniels arranged for an interpreter for that evening (in case you don't know, Kathy's deaf). So hopefully we'll see you next week. That meeting runs from 7 to 8 p.m. Take care, Debby
