Walking in the Rain

All my husband did was laugh..as I bundled up in his Yankee windbreaker (it fits me-it never did before)--with the bandana on my head...ready to walk in the rain! My dear friend and neighbor--who is 100lbs and needs to gain weight, keeps telling me how much fun walking in a warm rain is! We did it a few times this summer---but today was the first time I actually enjoyed it! I was soaking wet--but it felt so good! We walked 2.5 miles..talk about a lifestyle change! I would have never done that six months ago! Joanie

HI Joanie, I'm impressed! I got up at 5:00AM yesterday to go for my morning walk and saw that it was raining. It never even occured to me to walk anyway. Maybe next time I will try it. Sandy

Good for you but I have to agree with Deb on the Yankees thing - hee hee. I love walking in the rain. Weird, I know. Went to Boston last weekend and it rained all day Sat! We made the best of it and it was actually fun. Phyllis

Good for you Joanie, I would loved to hav joined you. I am going crazy sitting here all day, I just want to get up and get out of the house. I did think about going for a walk a couple diff times but it was POURING and I don't want all the bandages to get wet.... The rest of the week I will get out and about though! Carmen
