Mary Lou,
That is wonderful!!!!! The hardest part is getting there in the first place. I found I felt a little awkward there for the first two weeks or so and then it just became a very comfortable place for me to be. You have come such a long way from that first day you took a short walk in the park after surgery and you look great too! Keep up the good work
Heather

Hi, Mary Lou!
I too have never been to a gym, but I'm planning to start after I have surgery. Reading your post reminded me of when I attended Dr. Aranow's informational seminar in August. One of the things he said was that at about two weeks after surgery, "you'll be able to go back to the gym." What I thought (but didn't say) was, "What do you mean -- go back?"
If we were all regular gym attendees, how many of us would have been at that meeting contemplating having surgery?

Hey Mary Lou

I knew you could do it!! I am sure you will be sore today but don't let that stop you from going back. It is soooo worth the pain....

. We are going to have to take more pictures soon
.
You have come so far and you need to give your self sooo much creidt for all you have accomplished. I am so very excited for you and so glad you are my friend.
