Home!!!

Well, I am home and ready to start loosing! My surgery went well, they found a massive haitel (?sp) hernia, which was repaired, but otherwise uneventful. The hospital seemed short handed and noone got me up to walk, except my husband and daughter. Once I got off the morphine pump, I felt much better and did tons of walking yesterday! The tape from the IV on my neck irritated it and left some pretty nasty blisters, but it's not painful. I did some walking/shopping in wal-mart while waiting for my perscrtiptions to get filled, came home put in a load of laundry and made my lunch. I ate while reading a few e-mails, but am now a little tired, so I am going to go take a nap before anyone gets home. Carmen

I feel like I get little bursts of energy, then am suddenly wiped out. I try to get little things done when I feel like it and rest when I need to... My pain is minimal, so I am a pretty happy camper Carmen

I have been doing really well with the walking! It feels better than laying around all the time. Kinda hard today, but I do have an appointment later today, so I am going to try to go a little early and just walk around the building until it's time! I still can't believe your pic, it looks AWESOME!!! Carmen
