Hi Vinny, Glad to see you're doing well. It's normal to experience these funky pains early in surgery. It takes a while, but they do go away. As long as you aren't eating too fast or too much, you shouldn't get the pains after a few months. I know in the beginning, even drinking water I would get these pains in my chest that hurt like crazy. Hang in there and keep chewing well and taking your time with your meals. Keep us posted on the weight loss! Take care, Michelle

How much did you eat?? Size/portion can eeasily be a problem at that stage. Was it dry? Dry food texture is much more aggrivating to a new pouch. Try using anything with sauce. Sometimes, you need a sauce for a sauce. To keep portions small, use a baby teaspoon. It does work. Watch tv, and eat when a new commercial set starts. Peter

Hi Vinny, I still get that horrible pain two months out if the food is too dry or if I don't chew enough or portionis too large. Even when we think we are going slow, and eating a little, it's sometimes too fast and too much. Good luck. JA
