Getting rid of those clothes!!!!

If anyone needs to finally get around to cleaning out their closet and "offload" a bunch of clothes, and wouldn't mind coming down to Bridgeport, I have good news for you. The Bethel AME Church (it's in Bridgeport, not Bethel) has a clothing giveaway on the first Saturday of every month. They are DYING for clothes - men's and women's, any style as long as they are clean - and will take anything you have to give. I've warned them that they may be inundated with clothes, but they don't seem to think it's a problem. I think they are glad to have large sizes for a change! You can bring them any time after 10:00 a.m., but again, only on the first Saturday of the month, which will be next Saturday. They are at the corner of Laurel Avenue and Grove Street, about 5 blocks south of North Avenue (Route 1).

You mean I have to STOP wearing my bigger clothes once they become (as I have heard you say) like clown clothes? Once I am able to "let them go" I will certainly give them to The Bethel AME Church. Thanks for the tip. See you soon! Towanda
