I am home!
Welcome home, Terri! So glad to hear everything went relatively well, especially after the pain meds. I really appreciate the informative post. It helps me to imagine what it will be like for me when I finally have my surgery, and it takes some of the scariness away. So, thanks for your post, and I'm glad you're doing well.
Wendy
No problem Wendy, I am glad it helped you. You will have a lot of preparation with Dr Aranow's team. Before you go to surgery, there is a pre-op class put on by the head nurses on the bariatric floor that was wonderful. They walk you through every step of the process on the day of surgery until you walk out the door. I felt very prepared and confident before the surgery and very comfortable with everything that happened afterward in the hospital.

Hi Terri
I am glad you are home and hugs from your kids. It is better to be home with your family than staying hospital. Now the surgery is over! Your life just Begun ! SMILE! I am looking forward to see you again later and maybe we will go to Peter's store with pur kids. Take care and enjoy being pamper at home from your family and friends.
HUGS

thanks Kathy,
I haven't seen my kids yet though. My sister, who has been so supportive through this whole thing, not only came down from VT to be with my kids for the 1st couple of days so Jack could be at the hospital, but she took them back to VT with her for a few days so I could get back into the swing of things at home. It was more than I ever expected
and made things very easy for me. I can't wait to see the girls tomorrow though. I would love to go to Peter's store with you and the kids that would be fun! You can come to visit me too!
