Just wanted to say
Good morning to you!
It's going to be a busy weekend here. Tonight we start Yom Kippur which means all day in the synagogue tomorrow. On Yom Kippur we are supposed to fast without any food or water. Do you think it will be safe for me not to drink all day being newly post-op? Then at night there is a "Break the Fast" party at my in-laws which means like 100 of their closest snobby friends who all know that I had the surgery (thanks to my very talkative MIL!!!
) and will be looking me up and down all night trying to figure out if I have lost any weight yet. Argggghhh!!! It seems like whenever I see someone that knows that I have had the surgery they give me the once or twice over everytime they see me. It's very annoying and uncomfortable for me but hopefully will be something that I can learn to tolerate before I tell someone off, lol
Sunday we have a birthday party in early afternoon and then I have a staff meeting at the scrapbook store in the late afternoon and then a Stampin' Up party at night. Whew! I will just be glad when it's Monday and the kids are back at school and I can rest!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. The weather looks like it is going to be absolutely stellar for this time of the year!

Eileen,
Which scrapbook store do you work at?? I am an avid scrapbooker and I am really sorry that I did not do a month by month for myself after the surgery. Dont worry about your MIL's snobby friends. Next time they see you Watch Out because there will be heads turning and tongues wagging, Im going to a family wedding tonite and I havent seen most people there in a couple of years. This should be fun!!
Fondly,
Elaine
Hi Elaine,
I teach over at New England Scrapbook in Canton. You must go to Paper Capers quite a bit eh? Anytime you want to get together for a crop let me know! I know that there are a few others on this board that scrap as well. Maybe if there is enough interest we could have our own CT board crop. That would be lots of fun!
I have to have my husband take some pictures of me so I can do a scrapbook of it. I was at a support group last week and there was a lady there who had her album with her and it was such a nice record of her journey. I don't think it will be something that I will leave on the coffee table but this whole surgery is such a big part of my life that I feel I must document in some way!
