I'm not real familiar with it...is it contracted through a specific health insurance HMO?  Or is it the silver state card?  I googled it and found this info: Current SAGA medical assistance clients can call Community Health Network of Connecticut toll-free at 1-866-361-SAGA (7242) for information regarding covered services and referral to medical providers. Community Health Network of Connecticut’s website can also be helpful. (www.chnct.org/Member/sagamembers.htm) Call Andrea and you can ask her too.  She will know. Based on this Obesity Help information, it looks like it is covered... http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/members/list-insure rs.php?State=CT&alphaPos=S.  Take a look at that page - you might consider contacting those members who used SAGA insurance to find out the behind the scenes detail about how they got it approved and what their criteria consisted of - ie, co-morbities, guided nutrition requirements, etc. -jen
