November CT Get together!!!!

Ok, so since no one said IYUUUUCCCCCKKKKK to the Mexican idea... Here's my thought. On The Border has a private room and a catering menu that would work for us. We could do a chicken and beef fajita buffet for under $15 pp, upon preliminary calculations. And, for those of us who aren't opposed to imbibing a little 'holiday cheer' They have a private room that they book which can hold 50. There is an on the border in ORANGE and in ROCKY HILL. Both locations have November 20 (saturday before thanksgiving) open right now. Please weigh in on the date and which location would be best. We'll take a tally of votes and see what everyone prefers. I'd REALLY like to have a large group this time. Let's make this a 'must attend' event- It's our annual CT-AMOS Holiday Gathering!!!! Again, please respond with... Orange or Rocky Hill? Is the 20th at 5:00 pm OK with you? Or do you have an alternate suggestion for time/date. (ps, does someone want to tell me where the heck Orange is? I THINK near new haven?) Best, Lisa C

Hi Lisa, Well I must tell you as I know what a great shopper you are that On the Border in Orange is in the Christmas Tree Shoppe Plaza!!!! What more could we ask for?? . The date and time work fine for me. I would vote for the Orange location as it is close to home for us in the New Haven Area and not far off I 95 for everyone else. Actually for those coming from the Valley and Fairfield County areas, pretty easy also. It is exit 41 Marsh Hill Road off of 95. Okay everyone you have plenty of time to save this date!! Lets all make this a priority so we have a great turnout this time!!!!!! Linda

Lisa, The date is fine with me. I would prefer Orange also, because being in Danbury it is about an hour, and Rocky Hill looks more like 1.5 to 2 hours for me...BUT, that being said, I would be ok with either place. Anne

Lisa, The one in Orange is in the Christmas Tree shop Shopping center..convieniently located off I-95...Marsh Hill Road Exit. This is my favorite Mexican Restaurant! So..my vote is Orange and Nov 20th is perfect! Sign me up!! Thanks for planning this... Blessings, Joanie

Hi Lisa, Count me in but I won't eat that kind of foods since I will be newly post-op. Do I have to pay for $$? I think it will be fair to take western Ct turn to go Orange this time since WE went there near hartford twice. Kathy K

I'd say we'd make an exception for you Kath. You shouldn't have to pay if you can't eat (JMHO)
