Appointment with the doctor finally!!!!!!

I finally got a call this evening out of the blue. Felix from Dr. Barba's office called to set up an appointment for me. I have an appointment for 11/16/2004 at 6:10pm. It seems so far away but it will give me time to lose 14 lbs so I can go lapband instead of rny. He said that after my meeting with Barba, he should set the appointment for surgery about 1 month thereafter. This would be before Christmas. If I go lapband, thats okay but if I have to go RNY, I want to wait until after Christmas. I just dont want to end being a statistic before Christmas.

Hi Joanne, A statistic before Christmas?? Oh No! You cna lose the 14 pounds and be prepared for the lapband. believe it or not the time flies by, especially with the holidays coming - there's always a lot to do! Keep us informed! -Deb

I agree with Deb. I have been on this journey for a year now and can't believe it when I think about where this year has gone. A couple more months is a piece of cake. I am prob having my surgery in Dec also and will be waiting to. We can wait together. Phyllis
