TENTATIVE SURGERY DATE

Kathy It was fantastic to FINALLY meet you too. You know how we have all these coincidences in our lives. Kids have the same birthday, my brother in law is working on your case, there is one more. Your surgery date is the anniversary date of when I met my husband. It was a lucky day for me, I know it will be a lucky day for you. Im so excited for you, your big day is finally coming. I agree it feels like we have known each other all our lives. Maybe we met in heaven before we came here. LOL.... I cant wait until you are on the other side. I will definately be visiting you in the hospital and bringing you a give of Protein Shakes and flowers...LOL.... We will have to get our families together after you are on the other side and feeling better, during the holidays would be nice. I plan to attend the meetings in Middlesex with you every month now that you have shown me how to get there. It was great, thanks to all of you who made me feel welcome. Good luck Sister in WLS. CONGRATS KATHY The 18th will come by so quick!!! Just bring easy clothes to take off and put on, a robe so you can cover your butt when your walking (remember walking,walking is very good for you) the chap stick as Anne said, I also brought baby wipes so I could wash myself (I got real sweaty). Slippers that you can slip on because the soaks they give you move all over the place. Again Congrats on your date!!! Carmen

Katy, I am so happy for you! I know the waiting was hard but now you can start planning for the new life you will enjoy. Just the smile on your face was so encouraging for me to see. Sometimes during the *wait* it gets hard to feel encouaged. You did it for me..and after the meeting I spoke to a man who is a post-op. He must have known I needed support cuz he stopped and spoke to me ..telling me to *hang-in*. Thanks to him and you I went home feeling more encouaged.(Sorry I do not know the mans name). I just called and got a recording..had to leave my name and number and someone is suppose to call me back. Take care Hugs Pattie

Hey Pattie, I am all ears and waiting what they said to you over the phone. I know what it like because I waited three and half weeks for that date. NO FUN but I feel it will coming to you very soon and hopeful we can walk together at hospital on same week. hugs Kathy K
