my endoscopy is this thurs the 23rd, do they knock you out and how long are you there for ?very nervous. my surgery is the next day fun fun any one with any advise.

Hi Linda, Nothing to be worried about at all. They do knock you out.. you don't even know it, because it feels like 2 minutes later you wake up from a nap. It only takes a few minutes to have the meds wear off and it doesn't hurt afterwards. I didn't really even know anything was done.. besides the nurse putting the IV in. Goodluck with your surgery as well! You'll be fine.
