Obesity Walk

Well, the dang weather...I ended up NOT going to the walk. When I woke up it was POURING rain, COLD...they were calling for flooding in Middlesex County (among others) and my husband and I got into a HUGE fight about whether I should go or not. He won in the end, because whenever I do something like walking in the rain (go out shovel snow while it is STILL snowing) or the like, it seems that I ALWAYS end up sick after. It's not nearly as bad as it was pre WLS...I know that my body's ability to fight off that kind of stuff is much better now...but in the end, it was common sense that won out over my desire to be there "no matter what". I am so bummed out about it. I am still walking around the house right now in my sweats and my specially made t-shirt (LOL)...I am there in spirit, just not in reality. Did anyone go?? How was it?? Besides WET LOL What would make my day is of someone emailed me and told me that it was postponed (hopeful look on my face here). Well ya'll, have a Sparkling Saturday and I love ya's!!! ~CAE~

I also decided not to go this morning when I woke up and saw the weather. I am just getting over a cold so I knew I couldn't do it. I hope that a lot of people showed up for the cause though. Too bad they didn't have a rain date. Eileen
