Tammy, I do not think you are nuts.. I know how you feel but I just made up my mind to set the surgery as my goal and it made it a little bit less upsetting. I went through 6 weeks of almost no carb..high protien and lots of walking and water.. I only lost 7 lbs.. I know what it is like to work hard and not lose weight..as I think everyone does. I went to weigh****chers just before I decided to have the surgery. Six weeks of counting points exercising and just doing what was expected.. I gained a half pound. I know you can do this Tammy..if I can you can. Here is what I did. I had a shake(carb option(20gm protien)) a cup of decaf and 18 oz of water for breakfast. salad or shake for lunch and a chicken or fish for dinner with salad and veggies and lots lots of water. I also walked 1/2 mile daily until I was able to do 1 mile. I have not had the surgery but I am continuing to do this routine daily to prepare myself for my new life. God bless and many Hugs Pattie I hope this helps. feel free to email me or contact me if I can help in any way..
