Hi everyone, After seeing everyone Saturday and being amazed at how good everyone looks, I'm inspired to start researching reconstructive surgery. Has anyone been approved for any work (TT, lower body lift, etc) by ConnectiCare? We change insurance companies every 6 months so I'm not too concerned if they're tough. I ready my policy and it states they do not pay for plastic sugery (gee, really??) but they will pay for reconstructive surgery when it's disease related. Might be my ticket in! Thanks in advance, and really, who knew CT has so many gorgeous people in it?? -Deb

What is the difference between plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery, anyway? Good luck on the research! Phyllis

Hi Phyllis, The difference is insurance will never pay for plastic surgery, but might pay for reconstructive surgery. It's all how you word it. By the way, it was nice meeting you for coffee last week!! -Deb

Wish that I had girl. But, if you get approved by CT care- it gives me hope for the future. I have the same clause...which made me go hmmmmm? It sounds like an opening for me. Do yu have your medical need documented?...are you building up your case? Remember you can talk to Anahid about it if you want...she did such a great job of proving her medical necessity. hugs, Lisa

Isn't the government now considering obesity a disease? I though they just started accepting the weightloss surgeries as obesity is a disease. Good luck and keep us posted Joanne
