Need your prayers!!!

Kathy- nice 'talking' with you via TTY. Please honey, I'm going to beg you...you've got to just let this go and put it in the hands of Lois and God at this point. Insurance is a difficult process. It can take 30, 60 even 90 days for approval if your insurance has questions or concerns. Other times, it takes 1 week, 2 weeks or a couple of days. There is just no way to know. You have to stop concentrating on it so much or you're going to drive yourself insane. Go and enjoy your kids, your fall season, this beautiful weather, etc. Find a project or something to keep you busy and your mind off of this surgery approval. Do you scrapbook at all? You could organize your faily photos. How about coming up with a craft project for Christmas presents? Maybe making ornaments or stocking stuffers? ANYTHING to keep you busy and NOT THINKING ABOUT APPROVAL. Chances are that Lois submitted your insurance request with a planned date. BUT, you won't know until she gets some response from insurance. Aranow doesn't give tentative dates until they have some indication of approval from your insurance. So, that is not unusual. Don't worry about that. Think about what it would do to the surgery calendar if everyone who wanted to have surgery was scheduled before they had approval...it would be a nightmare, with always having to change surgery dates. This way, when they wait until they are more sure of approval, you can get a FIRM date. Hang in there...now go find something to do to keep you busy...The next time I talk to you, I want to know what project you are doing to keep busy. My wonderful Angel, Thank you for taking your time to talk with me through relay service. I am taking all of your advices... will let it go to lois and god..... will go shopping to buy favor bags for my daughter s birthday party this Sunday coming and will work on my scrap book ( I already bought stuffs for before and after scapebook but have not start it.) I will see you this saturday for walking in the raining and make sure I will get some picture taken with Dr Aranow at walking so I can put it on my scapebook . SMILE!! Hugs , Kathy K

Deb, Mine is little different from your. It is Federal Blue Cross Blue Sheild. I am taking my angel's advice and will do my hobby to keep my mind busy than thinking about it and waiting before it will drive me crazy... I am going to have a birthday party for my daugther this Sunday with alot of kids which will keep me busy to prepare for the party like buying favor bags..... Hugs Kathy K
