Possible Surgery Date Soon!
Hi everyone,
I am getting excited. 
I have met all of my doctor's pre-op requirements and tests and I have an appointment with my surgeon on Monday to go over all of the results and determine whether a surgery date can be set. I really hope there is nothing to hold anything up. I'd really like to have a date by the end of April.
The good news (in a backward sort of way) about the insurance part of the equation is that I dont have coverage for the surgery so I don't have to go through the approval process. The bad news is I have to come up with a significant amount of money to pay the advance portion of the bill and at the moment I still don't know where it is coming from. I am however confident that, one way or another, I will get the money I need. Even if I have to beg, borrow, and steal. While I would like to avoid leaning on my family for it, I will do whatever it takes.
Anyhow. Just needed to get that out. Thanks to everyone
on this board. Even though I'm sort of on the shy side about posting, I do read all of your posts and gain great insight and inspiration.

Can't wait to hear what date you get!! Maybe your new "birth" day will be the day my baby comes into the world!
That stinks about the insurance - but you sound like a man who goes after his goals and gets them - so the success of the surgery will be the same way for you I'm sure!
