A Wonderful time had by all!

Today was the UConn Support Group Summer picnic at Winding Trails in Farmington. We had a great time. I wish more people showed up that said they were going to, but all that were there enjoyed each other's company tremendously. I was so happy to see Kelly who is pre op soaking up all the stories from us post ops. I also was so happy to meet Dottie, a wonderful lady that brought her proud daughter along. We took lots of pictures and of course lovely Cathy Steele was right there by my side. I got to meet Mae and Charley, despite such a rough road they've both had from this surgery, they've hung in there and are an inspiration to all of us that believe in the addage, it aint' easy, but it's worth it! Hello Cheryl Next time please send flyer on this Ct Message board so I will come to your next party because I would love to meet you face to face since we email each other often. I am running out of patience for waiting for surgery date!! Hope it will be this week!!! Hugs Kathy K
