Getting ready

Well, I met with the psychologist yesterday morning after the pre-op class on Wednesday... I finally feel mentally prepared for this surgery. I want to thank all of you for bearing with my panic attacks and answering all my questions. You have all helped me a great deal. I had my EKG and bloodwork done today and bought some vitamins and protein powder. Has anyone tried liquid Calcium Magnesium Citrate for a Calcium Supp? I remember the nutritionist said that calcium absorbs better with citrus and this looked like it had it all in the supplement so I figured I'd give it a try. I also found a small can (12 oz) of Designer Whey french vanilla flavored. Any comments on this? I don't know if I will like it, but thought I could flavor my decaf coffee with it as well as milk. 11 days and counting! Terri

Only 11 days to go!!! Yaaaaaa Hooooooooo The designer whey protein works fine for me and I happen to like it. Be careful trying anything prior to surgery because your tastes will change after. It's sometimes a trial and error process as to what you like and what makes your pouch happy. The next 11 days is going to fly by. Maggie
