Waaaaaah... I wish I could go too. We are heading out to Westchester NY today to visit some friends. It looks like it is going to be a beautiful day today. Can't wait to hear all the details and see pictures of tonight's gathering. I hope I can make the next one. Have fun everyone! Terri

Hi all - Once again this is Anahid masquerading as Lisa (hm... I'd better get my own profile going huh?)... First, wanted to say it was a pleasure to meet y'all, though I didn't get a chance to chat directly with everyone. Setting was great - kudos to Lisa and Deb for organizing the event. They are the master planners aren't they??? I did promise to post info about the master surgeon who did my reconstructive surgery (remember? not plastic surgery!!! LOL!) His name is Dr. Charles Castiglione and his office number is: 860-548-7338. His office is located directly across from the CT Children's Medical Ctr @ Hartford Hospital. Be sure to let him know I referred you. He will take extra good care of you. Be assured he will be forthright and honest. He will do only what he feels you need and what is best for you. Also, wanted to let folks know about the Walk From Obesity being held next Saturday in Middletown. I am in the midst of getting directions etc so that we can disseminate it to interested people. Pre-ops & post-ops will be there as will many of their families and yes, even surgeons like Dr. Aranow. It promises to be a memorable event. It is not a race to the finish and is not intended to be experienced at a marathon pace, but rather the opportunity for so many of us to come together to bring awareness of this debilitating disease and to, by our own participation and pledges from others, help bring an end to the suffering and health issues experienced by so many MO people. It would be great if we could all be there, but I'm sure some of us have plans. Lisa and I plan to be there with bells and whistles!!! If folks want more info, jot a note to [email protected] or call 860-358-4583. I warned them they were going to get swamped with calls (LOL!!!). P.S. I believe the minimum 'pledge' or registration fee (as they are putting it) is $25 and is due @ the beginning of the walk. Talk to y'all later.
