Friday-What are We Eating?
Its going to be a busy weekend with kids activities and a gathering here for my MIL's 85th bday. I am catering most of the food, so it shouldn't be too bad. Just keeping the house clean will be a chore!
OK..here goes
B-carb countdown choc and skimmed mixed...thinking of adding some protein pwdr to equal 30 g of protein...
S-protein bar --Momentum 12 g protein
L-Tuna salad 2 oz-14 g protein
S-mozzarella stick
D-going out with people from work..TGIFs...so maybe a grilled chicken salad...ugh Chicken again? Anyone have suggestions about what I can order there???
Joanie, Sorry, I'm one of the people who lurk. I just had my first informational meeeting last night with Dr. Barba. I've been coming to the sight for about a month though. You guys are awesome! I have been saving the posts on "what are we eating?" almost every day and making a chart of things for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. That way, when I finally do have the surgery, I'll have a whole list of things that I can eat....it will help me not head for the bad stuff. I promise to post more, but I don't think you want to hear what I am still eating at this point....lol.
Christine,
Glad you are benefiting from our eating plans. You will soon be here with us. We ended up going to a local small bar/restaurant where everything is fried... I ordered a grilled chicke salad and brought a protein drink. I have had 87 g of protein today...but went to my high side on calories. Tomorrow is another day!
Gnite all
Joanie
