Hi Tom, I heard from my case manager about a gentleman who had surgery on a Monday, went home on Thursday, and on Sunday felt so good that he had a bowl of oatmeal and was in the process of eating The second of the three eggs he had cooked for breakfast and ended up perforating his pouch. He had to go back to surgery that day and has been in the hospital 3 times since! So in short yes it can and does happen. Sandy

Hi Tom, I do not live too far from your hometown. Yes it will stretch your "little pocket" if you east too much. Stick with tools for rest of your life. Come to Dr Aranow Support Meeting in Middlesex hosptial at 700 to 800 pm. I will be there this monday coming, Sept 13th. You will learn alot of thigns from that support group and can ask any questions to post op people there Email me if you want to know where the room will be. keep come back to Ct Message Board !
