Don't Forget About the Gala Sat.!

Hi, All! Just wanted to remind you one last time that our 4th annual Spring Gala is this Sat., Mar. 8th, from 7 p.m. to midnight, at the Courtyard by Marriott in Cromwell.  There will be tickets available at the door (for those who haven't bought them yet). I must admit to being disappointed that either attendance will be down considerably from prior years, or lots of people are waiting for the last minute to decide and are choosing to pay a few dollars extra for tickets at the door. Besides raising money for ASBS, we've always had a great time at these dances, even those who don't dance (for whatever reason).  It's an opportunity to meet or reconnect with people from this board, as well as others from all over the state. To be honest with you (as opposed to when I usually lie?), I'm a little worried because we haven't yet sold enough tickets to cover our expenses.  So if any of you are undecided at this point about attending, or are definitely coming but may have some friends you could bring along to party with us, please come Sat. night and bring your friends Also, don't forget to bring money for the cash bar and the 50-50 raffle tickets.

Hi Debby, I'm really looking forward to attending the "Spring Gala", but I'm especially looking forward to seeing many people from last years event.  It was so much fun last year.  The food was great, the music made us just get up and dance and the conversations with old friends and new acquaintances was great. I do hope there are lots of people out there that will decide to come and enjoy an unforgettable evening. Barbara
