I got my first consult with Deb. at Dr.Valins office

Wow I didn't expect it to go so fast they said to wait for the office to call I thought I would be waiting longer but hey I don't care anyways it is on the 13th of Sept. Anyone who had Dr.Valin any advice on what to expect. I know it is a long process but hey I feel that I am well on my way to becoming a "BIG LOSER". I asked to have the surgery before my birthday which is in Oct. the 3rd to be exact.Just maybe well just wanted to keep you go people I can call my family at OH updated I got my appointment I am so happy I hope all goes well

TASHA I MET WITH DEBBIE HIS WIFE SHE IS GREAT .I WENT TO THE SEMINAR END OF JULY . AND SHE CALLED ME 2 DAYS LATER .THEY WORK FAST .THEN I SAW DIANE THE NUTRITIONIST ,AND THEN CHRIS THEN YOUR ON A PROTEIN DIET 4 5 DAYS. MY SURGERY IS 9-24-04. I WAS JUST APPROVED ANIOUS AND NERVOUS.E MAIL ME IF YOU WANT TO CHAT.

Great news Tasha!!! Hold on to your seat, cuz the ride just gets faster from here. Keep us posted. Let me know if you need someone to help you through the protein diet as this can be grueling. The five days go by fast and from there you will get your date. Yay for Tasha!!! Maggie

I must admit I am jelous! I went to the seminar in June, waited until the end of July for my 1st consult, have seen Chris and Diana, done the protien diet (lost 17 lbs), had a date (9/27), got denied by insurance and am waiting for a new appt with Debby on 9/10 to discuss changing procedures, and hopefully resubmit and get a new date before I loose my insurance. I am glad all is going so quickly, not so sure you'll get a date before your birthday Tasha, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is sometime in October. Good Luck, Carmen
