Just stuff..
Hi guys! I hope everyone is having a good weekend so far. It's beautiful out, so I'll definitely be having a picnic later this evening and doing some swimming. I'm sad that summer is coming to an end. I'm originally from Texas, so I LOVE the hot weather.
Anyhow, just a couple of things I've been trying that I wanted to share and maybe get some feed back about. Lately, I've been craving V8 like MAD! Especially since I found it in Hot & Spicy. It's got all kinds of good stuff in it and it's yummy. Just wondering if anyone else uses this product. Also, I'm trying the Lemon Twist V8 right now, which doesn't taste too much different than the original.. so I'll stick with my spicy stuff.
Also, I bought some Women's Ultra Mega vitamins from GNC. They are HUGE! You're supposed to take 2, but even 1 at a time is a task. They have tons of the good stuff that we need. Has anyone tried this or heard anything about them? Good, bad, indifferent.. just curious.
Well, I haven't been getting as much protein as I'd like. I'm a pretty picky eater these days. Chicken is a NO-GO and tuna makes me gag. I've been taking my biotin as well as the vitamins, but my hair is still falling out. I just bru**** with my hand and I could make a wig for a small child! I guess I'm lucky that I have a ton of hair, or else I'd really be worried. Hopefully it's something that passes with time.

I used to love V8, but since surgery, looking at the carb count, I can't bring myself to drinking it. I will feel like I am cheating on myself. So, I stick to the water, crystal light and diet snapple.
I was told by my hairdresser to pick up some biotin. So, it's not really working for you? I have thin hair, though it looks like a lot. I've always been a master of illusions. It's definitely thinning more on top and currently, I am doing the "comb over" effect. HAHA Wow, I suck!

Isabella, the calorie count is 50 per 16 oz jar and the carbs I believe are 13. That number would be a little high, but I have it once a day maybe for breakfast. There's no added sugar, so most of your carbs are from the veggies.
Tara's right though, I would watch the carbs and stick to the water as a major drink. I've never drank so much water in my life, as I am now.
Tara, I don't know if the biotin is working yet or not. I'm still seeing a lot of hair loss, but I'm sure the biotin will take a while to kick in. I've only been taking it for about 3 weeks now. I'll keep ya updated though.

Not a veggie eater here. Always been a meats and potatoes man. Still am even after WLS. So I won't be able to answer your V-8 question, sorry. I do however take the mens GNC Ultra Mega Vitamin everyday and I am able to get them down easy. Best Vitamin I have seen lately. I think they are a good choice. Sorry about the hair loss, seems to be a little price we have to pay for looking gorgeous. Don't give up on the chicken yet, give it time and try it again.
