Hi.. My surgery date is Oct 1. I have a bed assignment meeting with Dr Giles September 16. I was wondering if anyone could give me a sneak peak to any information he may share?

There is no real sneak peek to the BED appointment. He meets with you (there will probably be 4 patients in the room) and goes over exactly what will happen and what you can expect. You will see a video and you will see the nutritionist. She will talk at length about your diet immediately following surgery and from there forward. It is very important that you bring someone with you that will be participating in your after care as well as your food preparation. The BED is very informational and absolutely necessary for anyone dealing with Dr. Giles. He likes to know that his patients are very well informed as to what will be going on. Best of luck to you. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Dr. Giles did my surgery 8 months ago. I have lost 184 lbs. and he is my hero. Donna
