Anyone going to support group at Middlesex Hospital 8/30?

Is anyone planning to attend the support group meeting at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown on Monday evening, 8/30? I went to Dr. Aranow's seminar on 8/18 and made an appointment to see him 10/8, so now I'm trying to fit in my 3 required support group meetings before my appointment. I'd like to meet any of you who'll be there; it's nice to put faces together with these postings. Sorry I don't have a photo posted, but I don't have a scanner or a digital camera. I'll be wearing a red and white gingham dress and (in case there are 2 of us in similar dresses) I have lyphedema in both legs so I'll have the most swollen legs in the room.

Hi Debby, I'll also be at the support group on Monday. I met Dr. Aranow on August 18th and am proceeding through the system. I also have a high BMI (and very swollen legs - so you may have some competition). I'll look for your red and white dress on Monday, so I can come over and introduce myself. Lori

I also will attending the support group meeting on Monday. I have my consultation with Dr. Aranow on 8/31 and this will be my third meeting but I will continue going because I like them. I also have swollen legs and feet but I do not know what I will be wearing. lol I do not even know what I will be wearing tomorrow. Well see you all there.

IS THE MEETING ON 8/30 FOR PRE OP OR ANY SPECIFIC GROUP?

Hi, Isabella! The meeting on the 1st Mon. evening of every month is just for pre-ops; the meetings on the 2nd thru 5th Mon. evenings are for both pre- and post-ops. Hope to see you there, Debby

Hi, I am planning to go to the meeting Monday and look forward to meeting you. I have not had the surgery as yet but have been going to the groups almost weekly. I have found them to be enlightening and valuable..I hope you do to. See you Monday! Pattie

Joanne and I will be there. Look for the tall guy. The format of this weeks meeting is a panel presentation. The lead panel member is Lisa, who is expecting late next month. She will be interesting, that's for sure. Peter

Hi Debby I will be there tonight!!!! I am only person who is deaf and is using an interpreter. You can find me because I will using sign language and will come to introduce myself there I love this support meeting and always go there twice a monthly even though it is long ride to drive for me.
