Support Groups - Bridgeport area?

Hi, I was wondering if there were any support groups (pre-op and post-op) in the Bridgeport area?

At NORWALK HOSPITAL, we have general post-op meetings twice every month. These meetings are entirely peer-lead and are not affiliated with any particular surgical group-- in fact, we have post-ops from several different area hospitals. And, we have both RNY and banded patients. On the first WEDNESDAY of every month we have a discussion meeting usually centered around 1 or 2 topics of interest to everyone. On the third MONDAY of every mont, we have a peer-lead roundtable discussion. All our meetings are FREE, start at 6 p.m and are held in the first floor VOLUNTEER CONFERENCE ROOM at Norwalk Hospital (and we even validate parking).

The group Steve is referring to is a great group of people. Try it out.

yes there is....st vincent's medical center has post-op support groups.  go  to  www.endtheweight.com  and click on post op patients.....you should be able to download a schedule of meetings.
