I miss taking a big ole drink of water the most. I think I miss that more than I miss the food. Honest! Right now I only want to eat something. Let me give you advice. DON'T!!! Do NOT push your diet. I tried some roast and I couldn't bear the thought of mushing it up so I cut it into tiny pieces and tried to eat it. I hurled since it got stuck and didn't feel good for a few days after. Depending on the food dependes on if I want the food or if it makes me want to hurl. Good Luck with everything.

I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.

Hi - congratulations on your new beginning!  I really like what Steve said - I would "ditto" that for sure.  I had my surgery Dec. 3rd, and went through Christmas without eating any cookies, etc.  There were several parties, and I ate some soup at one, and at a Thanksgiving type feast at my church, I brought a cup of broth with me - so I could have something that tasted like the smells.  I never ended up wanting it though - and I had a lot of fun talking with everyone.  Even I was amazed. I think I was able to do that because of faith and lots and lots of prayers.  I really wanted to be successful.  I have one bit of advice for you - do NOT cave in to your temptations - and there will be many along the way.  Go as long as you can possibly go during the "honeymoon" stage.  Don't eat anything that you shouldn't - at all!  Believe me, it is easier to do this at the beginning than it is later.  Your body has detoxed some at this point, so go with it. Continue on the journey, remember to take it one day at a time - with faith and determination, you will succeed. God bless, Kathy B.
