Still waiting....ugh

OKay..just posting to kind of complain because it i hope will make me feel better..... called dr. Bell's office today..i had called them last week to check on my "status"....well although i was told they had my psyche eval, they apparently didnt have it...so last week, i made sure it was faxed, and also got dr bell's office to tell me it was there..so its been 5 days..so i called his office again..and i am told the same ol...its sitting on the nurse's desk and i will get call.....i asked about if the Sept meeting was full and she said yes..so i guess i hope that the october one is empty, and they will fit me in there...then we arent looking at surgery until December..ugh.. i know it will happen, and go by quickly..but i just want it to happen NOW>. done complaining.... hope everyone's day is going well wuv deanna

Deanna, Sorry for your disappointment. For me the hardest part was the waiting pre-op. It was harder to go thru that than the surgery or any pain afterwards. Hope you get your surgery soon! It will be here before you know it! October is only 6 weeks away. Hang in there. Anne

The waiting is the hardest part ... I think it was Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers that said it best. Every doctor has their own procedure. I got my dr. appointment first, but then I had to get all the tests. I went into it thinking it would be a 6-12 month journey. It was a little less, but that time is useful to do more research and prepare yourself more for what you're about to do. Hang in there, try to look at it as an opportunity to really get used to the idea and be really ready when the time comes. XO Kathy F.

I am still waiting for Dr. Bell office also but I guess I won't hear from them until they receive the paperwork from my doctors office which is being sent today. I also asked about Sept meeting and they told me it was full and that it would be Oct or Nov. Good Luck

Deanna: I know this is the hardest part!!! Trust me I remember. They will call. You will have a date before you know it. Once you have a date it seems that the time just flies by. Just try to keep busy. Chryssie

Deanna, I soooo remember the waiting...it was awful! I thought "my day" would never ever ever get here....but it did. Once they call, time time just flies by. You can complain and moan all you want...we'll listen cuz we've all been there! Dr. Bell is worth the wait. He told me last month when I was there that he was going on vacation like the first week in Sept., so that could be part of it too...Poor guy does deserve a break! He's a great doc! Hang in... xo JA

Sorry that happened to you deanna. That happened to me too. Twice! Very frustrating. I hope it is all settled and you get into the next group!
