I love cats too, I feel bad for you to have to give them up.  I have a few questions for you.  Are they declawed?  How are they with dogs?  I'll help to spread the word.

Kathy, Thanks.  They are not declawed, they use those cardboard scratch pads.  I put the double sided tape stuff on the furniture and wood pieces that I wanted them to leave alone and that worked.  Although, I wouldn't recommend them for people with leather furniture.  Just on/off and running around they would scratch it or poke holes in it.  I took care of my sisters dog while she went on vacation for a week.  They co-existed fine but the cats just avoided the dog.  Her dog wanted to play but they just ignored him.
