I HAVE A DATE!!!!!

Well its official.....March 24 I will be having open RNY!!!!!! The paperwork was sent to Anthem for approval last friday and the approval came thru on tuesday. I think 3 days must be some kind of record. God I love having a state job, lol I started this journey 2 years and 11 days ago at the lowest point in my life and am now riding high and getting dizzy from the altitude!!!! Let the count down begin!

Congratulations Rich!  March 24 will be here before you know it!  I also waited a while before actually having my surgery.  It is well worth the wait!  Good luck with the next step of your journey! 

congrats on your date as a fellow state employee took a 1 1/2 years to get approved thru oxford. 15 days out from lap-bandind down 19.6 lbs since 2/05/08 feel great! Put down those cookies and let the skinny *****es have em!

Congrats! Rich.  Can't wait until you become a loser just like us.  My husband works for a municipality with Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield Century Preferred and it was approved right away too.  They are even covering all of my fills for lap band.  We'll be counting the days.  That's the day after Easter.  Be careful of "last supper" syndrome.
