CT Walk From Obesity , Sept. 18

Hi all Here is some new information on the walk from obesity. http://www.walkfromobesity.com/newhaven/index.php Walk Location: New Haven/Middletown, CT The Walk will be held (rain or shine) at the Principal Financial Services Building, 245 Long Hill Rd, Middletown, CT 06457 (the old Weekly Reader Building - Map and Directions). Registration will start at 7:00 am, the Walk begins at 9:00 am. Who has registered so far? Did you put down CT QTs as your team? I just got back from CA and am trying to get an idea as to who will be there. I think it will be a blast. Maggie

Unfortunetly you can't register online. That is such a bummer. It would make life so much easier if you could. I can't wait to see everyone there. Maggie

I am told that it is a 2 mile walk. Maggie

I filled out my registration form a few minutes ago. Thanks for the reminder! And, I sent them an email to see if I could volunteer to do the warm up for everyone. I used to be an aerobics instructor and look forward to doing that again some day!!!!

Hi Everyone...I am a longer out postie...almost 3 years...can I join in with y'all for the walk?? Most of the people I went through my surgery with are no longer too active in the WLS community...they have all gone on with their lives, as I did for a while too...but have felt the need to come back to the "family" so to speak. I have my registration form already filled out...just want to know if I can join y'all...don't want to walk alone. ~CAE~
