List of Comorbidities

Where can I get a list of the comorbities. I need to include mine in my letters to the doctors, but I dont know whats on the list.

Heidi, thanks, got it. Now I can construct my letter. Call PCP today to make appt and he is out of office until 30th. Did my journal of diets today. All done with that. As soon as I get paperwork I will make appt for pshyc eval. and dietician. insurance all set, said they cover procedure and all i have to do is call them one week before procedure to notify them I will be going into the hospital. why dont you come with me to yale, you drive here and then I will drive. i need to bring hubby and son to first meeting so they can ask there questions. son is coming around, hubby is afraid he will loose me. thinks i will die. he is a financial advisor, and who does he get the other day, but a girl wanting to invest money from her mothers estate, mother died from wls. GREEEEEEEAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTT, just what he needed to hear. so it will take convincing. actually im in a good place i dont have a ton of the comorbidities yet so i could actually skate out of this without ever getting them. but family history suggests im doomed to get the whole enchillada. my email address at home is [email protected], email me and i will give you my phone number, we can get this arranged. i can drive. i need to know how to get ther anyway since i will have to go often. have you had your surgery yet? are you scheduled? can i email you? thanks for all your help, you and kathy have been great to me. its nice to have sisters in wls. Hi Lauren, It sounds like you are going to Br Bell 's support group on Sept 7th. You picks the right doctor and very good doctor who do for lap rny surgery. You will meet alot of Dr Bell s patients there and also at CT Dinner too. I hope to meet you there on Sept 11th. Good Luck I am glad to help you to feel better about going for this surgery. Lauren: It sounds like you are going to Dr.Bell's support group at Yale. There is a great mix of pre & post op people there. You will love Dr.Bell. I had my surgery 3 weeks ago and I feel great. I am a type 2 diabetic and no longer need ANY meds at all. Tell your hubby and son to feel free to ask as many questions as they need to. That is what us post ops are for.
