My mini-vacay in Wildwood was unbelievable! I had such a phenomenal time. We left Friday afternoon and got to Atlantic City. Hit Harrah's and gave some of my hard-earned money to the roulette table. But then picked a nice looking slot machine that seemed so lonely and begged for me to play with it and made most my money back. Then dinner at Planet Hollywood. I got a ceasar salad with shrimp. It was so nummy. Of course, I pawned off a lot of it to my companions. To Wildwood we go! It rained like a *bleep*, but we made it. Went to a comedy club, then to a bar and then to the hotel. Nice place. Saturday we hit a lot of rides on the boardwalk in Wildwood, including the Sling-Shot. This is the cage ball that springs you up a gazillion feet in the air. We got it on video too!! Saturday night we did dinner and then hit the Shamrock. That's where a lot of the pics are taken. I was sitting there, socializing (like I do so well) with complete strangers and all of a sudden, someone grabs my side. I have enough time to say "what the ............" and the next thing I know I am in the middle of a conga line! We proceed to LEAVE the bar - travel across the STREET in hurricane Charley and CONTINUE to conga in a Chinese Restaurant! (At this point you are dancing to the song in the Six Flags Commericals, aren't you?). Then BACK into the bar. Seconds later, I am DANCING with ........ well, more strangers. Needless to say, I never wanted to leave that night. But alas, all good things must come to an end. Sunday, we checked out of the hotel, went to Cape May and then Ocean City and then .............. home (and work). What a time - can't wait to do it again. I promise to give more notice if any of you want to come with! Here's the evidence. Pissed that most pics of me are blurry. Like I am a vampire. *sigh* http://del-pro.com/~smooo/album/wildwood04/index.htm Oh, by the way, new camera held up like a CHAMP! Go me! Tara

Holy Crap. I cannot believe you did the sling shot. I would never in a million years, I have to see the video. That had to be so cool. Looks like a good ride from the ground and when someone else is doing it. Whenever I see people do that ride or even bungy jump, all I can say is, "Those are some crazy SOB'S." The pictures look great and looks like everyone had a good time. As far as the focus problem, whenever you take a picture, you have to press the button halfway and wait for the auto focus to adjust, and whenever you have someone other than yourself take a picture with your camera, let them know the same thing, press the button and what to wait for the green light letting you know it is in focus, then press button all the way down. Hope this helps. Luis
