A question about doctors/hospitals/..newbie stuff.

Kirsten- I would strongly encourage you to go to both the Hartford meeting and the Middlesex meting to check out both programs.  Every surgeons program/philosolpy.bedside manner is completely different and you need to be sure you select the program/doctor that is right for your needs.  This is probably the first time you'll have an op;ortunity to actually be PRO ACTIVE in your own healthcare decisions, so I encourage you to get into the fine details and really chosse what's best for you, by gathering all possible information. Dr. Tischler & Dr Aranow are both very good surgeons- but you will find their programs to be different. Good luck to you,
