Insurance

I work for the state of CT, I heard that my insurance company pays for this surgery. Do I still have to go through a process to ask them permission to have it done? thanks Lauren

Hi Lauren, I don't know the particulars on the state's insurance plans, but you will probably need to be pre-approved or referred by your PCP. Lauren: I have BC/BS state of CT employees plan. I am not sure what my insurance required but I met all of my surgeons requirements. His office submitted my paperwork after I completed all the pre op testing and I was approved with no problem. Chryssie
