I am now on the losers side. Woooohoooooo Thank goodness. My Open GBS with a gallbladder removal went fine. The only issue they had was with my liver, I guess it was abnormally big. I kept them on their toes I guess. I was up and walking late monday night. Tuesday I felt like I wa**** by a truck about 50 times but the nurses did warn me that would happen. I never would have though****er and crytal light would have tasted so awesome. The ensure seems to take me forever to get down but hopefully I will find the right protein shakes that suite me. I will update my profile when I am feeling a little better with all the details. I just took my meds so I am not very bright eyed. Thank you for all your well wishes. It was very nice to see you Lisa C. and it was so nice of you to call me, Kathy. Question for all you Open RNY's out there, How long did your incision hurt for? That is the worst thing. It is killing me but they all say it looks great. Please let me know. I am so happy to be home. Bye for now. ~Julie~

Hi Julie First off, Welcome home. Glad to hear you are doing so well. As for the Open RNY question, mine hurt for about 1 week, then it starts itching as it started to scab and heal. The meds should take care of it if you really feel uncomfortable. Hope this helps. Luis
