How exciting

I know I don't post here much, but I often read the posts and think this is a great group. I am so excited and I wanted to share my news with all of you. I had my psych eval Monday and met with the nutritionist last night and bothsaid I was a great cantidate for the band, since I am not a big sweets eater or muncher esp of salty snacks. Yeah!! Even better she gave me a date for my pre-op meeting! I can't believe it. 3 weeks from today, September 1. She said she will talk to Debby at the surgeons office and see if they can schedule my surgery during the first 2 weeks of September! I can't believe it, within a month I can be post-op. I am in shock!! The only thing I have left to do is the Protien sparing diet, which I will do next week. And of course get insurance approval. I just hope I get it without a big hassle. Carmen
