Hi Latoya, Welcome to the group. I am also a patient of Dr. Aranow's and was at the support meeting on Monday. I am planning on attending next monday as well. What we did at the last meeting was somewhere on your name tag write "OH" so that we could recognize other members of this board. Next week will be my last meeting with a red tag! I am so excited!

Welcome !!!!!!!!!! Glad you are here. I was at the meeting Mon. night myself. You've come to the right place ...you'll meet lots of supportive, caring people here...and get a lot of info. as well!!!! We all have our own journey to walk but we never do it alone here.Ask questions ...that's how we all help each other. I plan on attending the Mon. night meetings too. The pre-op one held the first Mon. of each month was really great...If you haven't been, catch the next one...it was really helpful! I see Dr. Aranow for the first time on 8-24-04. I'm looking to make new friends too! My nickname since childhood is Carrie...which is what I usually go by..so why I put Carolyn on my profile..I'll never know ...but anyway...Nice to meet you! Write any time! Carrie

Hi LaToya! Welcome to the CT Boards. This is a wonderful place for information - not just for pre-op patients, but post-op as well. I've made life-long friends here and I can't imagine getting through this without each and every one of them!! Good luck in your journey - I am sending good karma your way, as always. Hi Latoya, Welcome to the CT Boards. This is a great place to hang your hat. Lots of people who will share their experiences and give you support. Attending support groups is a very important part of this process, keep up the good work. Any time you feel like venting or have a question please feel free to chime in. Actually even if you just want to say hello we would love to hear from you. Good luck with your journey and remember that patience is something that you will need in getting through this process.
