Surgery less than two weeks away, YIKES!

I can't believe the day is almost here! I went to the pre-op class at Middlesex last week and it was very informative. The nurse went through EVERYTHING that happens from when you enter the hosp doors until the first few days at home. This site has been a great source of information and support for me. Claudia, I was at that meeting too! Julie from here was there as well When is your surgery? Mine is two weeks from today and I am so excited. Maybe we will be in the hospital at the same time and can walk together

I also was there with my mom and found that it was very informative. It also proved without a doubt that every surgeon differs. I have some friends that went to different surgeons for their surgeries and they didn't get pushed as hard. I left there a little more stressed than before I got there. But in all it was nice to meet someone that will be there the same day as I am. I'm waiting to find out what time my surgery is. They will be calling me on friday to let me know. The next two weeks are going to fly by for you. I wish you the best of luck and I'll see you on the losing side. ~Julie~
